Taher’s greatest inspiration has always been his maternal uncle, a man who built a business empire from nothing but sheer hard work, intelligence, and duas. Watching him turn challenges into triumphs, Taher imbibed the values of persistence and strategic thinking. With his uncle’s unwavering support and guidance, he learned to navigate life’s toughest decisions.
Academic Excellence and Early Career
Taher’s academic journey began in aerospace engineering, where he shone as a university gold medalist in his Bachelor’s program and ranked among the top three in his Master’s. His brilliance led him to work at IIT Bombay as a Research Engineer. Although the work was intellectually stimulating, Taher soon realized that India’s aerospace industry offered limited growth prospects.
The idea of pivoting careers in India is often seen with stigma, as people expect lifelong loyalty to the field chosen in one’s teenage years. Yet, Taher knew he had to take a bold step. He embraced the emerging world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), despite the immense difficulty of transitioning from aerospace.

The next chapter in Taher’s story unfolded in the United States. Moving abroad came with challenges, including deciding on the right city, arranging finances, supporting his family, and adapting to a new environment.
